Marketing Manager resume example & writing guide
Marketing leaders are hired on pipeline, not activity. Your resume should read like a performance report: budget in, revenue out, and the channels in between.
What to include on a marketing manager
- Open with owned budget and the return on it — 'managed $600k budget driving $4.2M pipeline'.
- Break results out by channel: paid, SEO, email, events — with one metric each.
- Name your stack: HubSpot, GA4, Semrush, Marketo — tool fluency is screened for.
- Show team scope: direct reports, agencies managed, cross-functional partners.
- Cut vague verbs ('supported', 'helped with') — own the number or leave it out.
